Clinical Nurse Vascular Access- Part Time
Additional Information About the RoleCollaborates with the healthcare team to assess and provide needed vascular access by placing Difficult Peripheral IV’s, PICC lines, extended dwell catheters, Midline Catheters, and accessing Implanted Venous Access Devices. Educates and assists nursing staff on techniques to use to place peripheral IVs, how to care for central venous catheters, and troubleshooting when questions arise about IV care and/or peripheral IVs/central venous catheters.The BJC Registerd Nurse Career Ladder differentiates BJC as the place for nurses to work in the greater St. Louis area.
