Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, and Central Region Chair of Psychiatry at Carrier Clinic in Belle Mead, New Jersey. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for psychiatric services at Carrier Clinic.
- Chair the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health.
- Advise the President, Chief Hospital Executive, Central Region President, and Board of Trustees on clinical affairs, quality goals, and education.
- Advance the Carrier Clinic and "Carrier Behavioral Health" brand on a state and national level.
- Oversee medical staff recruitment, performance evaluations, and continuing education.
- Develop and implement clinical programs and policies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (Joint Commission, CMS, State).
- Lead performance improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources.
- Collaborate with other regional chairs to develop and implement a strategic plan for psychiatry within the Central Region of HMH.
- Provide leadership to employed psychiatrists within the Central Region, including recruitment, evaluation, and mentorship.
- Represent Carrier Clinic in the community and with external agencies.

REQUIREMENTS:
- M.D. or D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School.
- Board Certified in Psychiatry.
- Current New Jersey medical license, CDS, and DEA certificates.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
COMPENSATION:
Starting Base Salary: $383,406.40

Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
