The Operating Room at Hines VA Hospital is located on the 2nd floor of Building 200. The Operating Room is equipped with 9 state of the art Operating Room Suites. The Registered Nurse and the Surgical Technicians for the Operating Room are assigned to take call for all surgical emergency cases; they are available to all patients requiring surgical intervention 24 hours a day. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402(d), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English. Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropr
