The Resource Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RRN) assigned to the nursing resource pool and are organizationally aligned under Nursing operations. The RRN is primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of Veterans at the VA Augusta Health Care System (VAAHCS). This position is based on a broad skill set and a high amount of critical thinking. This position involves floating from unit to unit based on patient care needs. Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7403(f), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
