Pharmacist (Clinical Specialist)

This position provides the opportunity to be part of the further development, expansion and implementation of the existing Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP). The Antimicrobial Stewardship/Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacist will be part of a multidisciplinary team and co-lead the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program with the ASP Medical Director, with the goal of achieving quality patient outcomes, cost savings and avoidance of unintended adverse events related to antimicrobial use. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. English Language Proficiency.
