The Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is seeking a motivated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing team of providers. The selected candidate will partner with a robust team to cover overnight inpatient services. The candidate will be trained in all facets of pediatric neurosurgery. Once trained, responsibilities will include first assistance for overnight surgical cases, receiving inpatient and emergency room consults, leading morning rounds and supporting readiness for discharges including patient teaching. Common clinical presentations include craniofacial conditions, craniosynostosis, hydrocephalous, spinda bifida, cerebral palsy, chiari malformation, brain and spinal cord tumors.
