You will promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. Schedule: 40hrs/ week-variable per volume and unit needs  Scheduling:Managers make the schedule (no self-scheduling, no set days, no set shifts)Cases/day (average): 8-12/day; add on patients in the afternoon Scheduling details:We have a variable schedule (no self-scheduling). Call is in addition to regularly scheduled hours. We schedule cases Monday-Friday 0730-1930. Nights, weekends, and holidays are call shifts for urgent/emergent cases. We try to work with staff but will meet the needs of the department to cover. ALL shifts are subject to change depending on department volume. The 0600 shifts float the most. Our staff will do either PACU or GI Call depending on skill set.
