The Oncology Infusion RN is responsible for providing frontline patient care in the infusion room, performing overall patient assessment, administering IV medications, including chemotherapy daily. The Infusion RN functions as an integral part of the patient care team to coordinate patient care by interacting with Oncology care team members, The Infusion RN is responsible for professional nursing care according to individual needs of the patient population within the rules and regulations of the Illinois Nurse Practice Act.
