The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare (VAGLAHS) is seeking a skilled/experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMH NP). The PMHNP is responsible for medication management for patients with a wide of variety mental disorder,including supportive psychotherapy, facilitation of medication support groups,evaluating & providing medical clearance for patients presenting to the clinic who may need psychiatric hospitalization, & assessment & intervention for patients presenting in crisis. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
