The Nurse Manager (NM) works with the Chief Nurse for Geriatrics and Extended Care. They are responsible for providing leadership in delivering and improving holistic patient care through collaborative strategies with others. The NM is responsible and accountable for the provision of resident centered care in the Hospice Unit and Palliative Care. The NM is responsible for ensuring that nursing staff provide timely care which complies with generally accepted standards of clinical practice. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
