The Sr. Administrator, Patient Care Services, Inpatient Rehab is responsible for the practice of Nursing at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospitals by ensuring consistency in the standard of practice across the clinical IRF settings. Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital is a 170-bed hospital serving both adult and pediatric populations. Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital – Bartram (BRH-B) is a 60 bed hospital serving adults, and Brooks Halifax Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation (CIR) is a 40 bed Inpatient Rehab unit within the Halifax Hospital As a member of the Brooks leadership team, the Sr. Administrator, Patient Care Services, Inpatient Rehab supports and facilitates an interdisciplinary team approach to the delivery of care. This includes creating a nursing environment in which collaboration is valued and excellence in clinical care, education, and research is promoted and achieved and evidence-based nursing practice is facilitated. The Sr. Administrator, Patient Care Services, Inpatient Rehab ensures the continued advancement of the profession of nursing at Brooks. Demonstrates a commitment to create a nursing environment, such as Magnet, to achieve higher quality indicators, elevate nursing services, clinical outcomes and patient care delivery systems
Graduate of a state-licensed accredited school of professional Nursing and licensed to practice as a RN in the state of Florida;
A Master’s Degree or higher required. Either the baccalaureate or master’s degree must be in Nursing (BSN or MSN).
Five years of progressive nursing management experience in a position with demonstrated success and experience in managing diverse functions are required. Experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation or Post Acute preferred. Certification in Specialty Practice preferred.
Strong leadership ability. Able to demonstrate financial, quality and patient satisfaction outcomes. Strong advocate of the interdisciplinary model and service line organizational structure. Experience with change management and ability to mentor and direct nursing practice within a programmatic structure
