The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient centered health care services. This position has administrative oversight by the Chief Nurse Spinal Cord Injury/Disorder (SCI/D) and is located within Nursing Service at the Memphis VA Medical Center. This position is assigned responsibility for providing comprehensive, high quality, cost effective healthcare services to (SCl/D) veterans who are rendered care at the Memphis VA. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402(d), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English. Graduate of a
