The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) is responsible and accountable for clinical outcomes and coordination of care for a culturally diverse veteran population. The CNL possesses the knowledge and skills to effectively apply all aspects of the nursing process and care management principles within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice setting. The CNL utilizes evidenced-based practice to achieve improved outcomes related to both acute and chronic illness. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
