The Registered Nurse (RN) practices in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) located in the Operative Care Division (OCD) in Portland. The PACU RN provides phase I post-anesthesia recovery for most surgical procedures. Excluded are those recovered in the Critical Care Unit or fast-tracked directly to phase II recovery. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
