The George Washington University Hospital (GW Hospital) is a 395-bed tertiary care, academic medical center located in downtown Washington, DC, next to the Foggy Bottom metro. • Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

• Education/Qualification
  • High School diploma
  • At least six months of recent Hospital, long-term care, or medical work experience, which provided knowledge of basic patient-care activities related to Multi-skilled technician duties
  • Completion of CNA, Medical Assistant Course, or two years of nursing school.
  • CNA certification preferred
