This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Major duties and responsibilities include: Perform Colonoscopies with polypectomy and biopsy Perform Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) with biopsy, dilatation, polypectomy. Supervise and/or administer Moderate Sedation Perform and interpret Fibroscan Provide comprehensive care to include diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and education of patients with gastroenterology conditions in the outpatient clinic Responsible for timely completion of patient consults and notes as well as correctly coding visits (encounters) in accordance with coding guidelines. Conduct telemedicine visits for patients in outlying clinics or at home. Provide electronic consultative services after reviewing the electronic medical record without seeing the patient.
