The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for a Physician (Internist/Family Medicine/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation). The Physician will function in Spinal Cord Injury Service. The Physician duties include, but are not limited to: Providing inpatient/outpatient/long-term medical care and consultative services in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment for acute and chronic Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) patients. Participating in pre-admission screening, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary team rounds. Providing leadership for team building, program development and practice improvement within SCI Service. Participating in opportunities for student, resident and staff education and research. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment): Yes This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.
