Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full-time 1.0 FTE Sourcing Specialist to join our WPMG HQ Recruiting team in Renton, Washington.

The Sourcing Specialist is an integrated member of the WPMG Recruiting team. The position provides guidance, assistance, and support to Recruiters and WPMG leaders. The Sourcer consults with Recruiters on candidate sourcing opportunities, which can include a variety of in person and online opportunities across the region, and in partnership with other Permanente medical groups. The position is also responsible for creating new tools to increase WPMG exposure to the larger medical community, including fellowship, and residency programs.
The Sourcer partners with the Recruiters to support sourcing candidates on active postings with hard-to-find skills and/or hard to recruit for locations. Sourcing work involves working with the Recruiters to understand the specific and unique requirements for the opening, identifying both passive and active candidates through various social media tools, and performing the initial outreach to determine if candidates meet qualifications and are interested in WPMG. The Sourcer will also ensure a warm handoff to the recruiter to ensure a high-quality candidate experience and transition to the next part of the hiring process. The Sourcing Specialist will work with our internal EID team to leverage existing relationships for diversity sourcing opportunities, as well as being the primary contact from the recruiting team in working with external diversity professional associations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing and Communications
Advertising in known sources, website, job boards, journals, etc.
Partner with recruiters to post job openings in all appropriate on-line resources.
Maintain postings and pull them down as jobs fill.
Utilize market driven insights and data to generate sourcing plans.
Research new advertising outlets.
Post in print journals as needed.
Maintain advertising tracking tool to track costs and expiration dates for job posting.
Develop and maintain metrics to monitor effectiveness of advertising campaign.
Use social medial resources to recruit passive providers by telling our KP story.
Establish core group of WPMG/KP influencers for regular social medial updates.
Maintain documents that need an annual updating like benefits one pagers and clinic maps used for Marketing and Communications recruiting campaigns.
Work with recruiters and marketing partners on email blast communications for hard to recruit positions.
Update marketing materials on an annual basis to ensure timely and appropriate messaging.
Work with 3 rd party marketing vendor to design new tools for everyday use, as well as, conference use.
Partner with in-house communications team and interested WPMG recruiting members for review of new marketing materials
Investigate and implement new ways to proactively recruit providers.
Research tools and/or resume databases that may be new resources in attracting medical staff candidates; prepare costs and benefits analysis as part of recommendation.
Research and identify new sourcing strategies.
Develop passive candidate pipelines through innovative sourcing techniques and proactive communication and outreach.
Implement comprehensive sourcing strategies across a variety of channels to increase visibility for WPMG and volume of potential candidates.
Collaborate with recruiter, HR, and recruiting ambassadors to develop strong understanding of department culture and talent needs.
Convert hard-to-find passive talent through understanding of our business mission into interested candidates in current opportunities, which may include developing strategies for maintaining contact and relationship building.
Facilitate development and deployment of residency program out-reach.
Responsible for staying connected with internal partners to understand the
