Duties will include consultation liaison services for Marion, IL VAMC inpatients, Emergency Room (ER) patients, Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP)and Community Living Center (CLC) patients. Incumbent duties will also include providing general clinical psychiatric services to Veterans, including on-call, walk in, and Video Teleconferencing (CVT, VVC) services to include Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC's) locations outside assigned duty station. These duties include general psychiatric care of adult Veterans and may include, but are not limited to, conducting diagnostic evaluations, psychiatric consults, medication management, and individual or group psychotherapy. Psychiatrist may be expected to provide direct clinical consultation to multi-disciplinary staff, some at multiple sites, as appropriate. The Psychiatrist will be a psychiatric provider for the Intensive Community Mental Health Recovery (ICMHR) program and will provide coverage for the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary (BHIP) team as appropriate. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with on-call and weekends if necessary.
