The Neurology Staff Physician provides clinical skills for the Neurology Service to ensure achievement of clinical goals and applicable performance measures. The physician is accountable for the professional delivery and thorough documentation of treatment to adult patients in inpatient settings and outpatient clinics as well as comprehensive examinations and histories to patients assigned to him/her in the C&P Neurology Clinic Duties include but are not limited too: · Provide direct patient care in inpatient setting. · Observe patient responses, testing procedures, use of equipment and review of patient records. · Thoroughly document examinations and histories using appropriate programs and forms. · Provide education to other physicians and healthcare professionals regarding neurological disorders and their treatments. · Provide education, supervision, and mentoring to Medical students, residents, and fellows in neurological disorders and their treatments. · Participate in inpatient, outpatient subspecialty duties as assigned by the Chief of Neurology, including on-call assignments.
