The Vice President Health Plan Analytics will provide strategic direction and leadership, developing a high-performing team of analysts and data scientists that support unique health programs, engagement initiatives and value-based payment approaches to incentivize and reward high-quality, affordable care. Responsible for partnering closely with leaders from the Health Plan and the clinical enterprise to transform business processes through the use of analytics and big data. Specific areas of collaboration include: benchmarking provider performance to achieve quality goals; identifying instances of overuse, inefficiency, and unwarranted clinical variability to highlight value-creation opportunities; and strategically targeting care management, home care, telemedicine, remote monitoring, pharmacy, and other services to high-risk individuals—particularly to those living with chronic disease.
Provide innovation, vision, strategy, direction, and oversight for Operational and Clinical Health Plan Advanced Analytics.
Provide monitoring, reporting, and actionable insights into operational and clinical health plan analytics, ensuring SMART (specific, measurable, actionable, relevant, time) metrics are monitored with targets and goals to achievement.
Provide all health plan clinical programs and initiatives with initial evaluations, metric setting, monitoring, and overall program return on investment analyses.
Provide all clinical programs with member risk profiles and advanced analytics and processes to ensure the right members are being targeted for the right programs, continue to enhance our algorithms for referrals into these programs to optimize effectiveness, efficiency and overall costs of programs.
Provide leadership support in developing process improvement metrics for effective and efficient operational delivery.
Participate and provide insights into organizational data strategy to incorporate new data sets into Health Plan analytics.
