This position is located at Enterprise, OR for the Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center Walla Walla, Washington. The RN Care manager coordinates care through the use of Telehealth equipment to the Veterans Primary Care provider. The RN actively participates in Clinical Video Telehealth visits, functioning as a Tele-presenter. The RN maintains competence as a Tele-presenter as outlined by the VHA Telehealth Services as assigned. Scope of Telehealth Assigned Duties: Duties include but not limited to: - Manage required screenings and complete clinical reminders, documentation, opening and closing encounters required. - Assist the primary care or specialty care provider with the Veterans physical exam as needed. - Responsible for Veteran education, documentation and assistance with workload capture basic for the completion of the visit, per scope of practice. - Regular contact with the Facility Telehealth Coordination to work out any process issues, equipment needs/problems, data collection and any other logistical issues. - Performs Tele-Presenter duties for the encounter. - Provides ideal customer service to all Veterans. - Considers gender-specific Tele-Presenters who can serve as chaperones when required. - Covers Telehealth clinics scheduled for the day, as assigned. Work Schedule: 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday through Friday Financial Disclosure Report: Not required Recruitment/Relocation/EDRP: Not approved for this position. Pay: Competitive salary, regular salary increases. Paid Time Off: Annual leave at the rate of eight (8) hours per biweekly pay period; Sick leave at the rate of four (4) hours per biweekly pay period; 10 paid Federal holidays per year. Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years' vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA. Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement). Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory.
