The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, is seeking a full-time Clinical Associate for a renewable two-year term. The appointee will serve as the Medical Director of Hospice/Palliative Medicine Services in our expanding network. Clinical responsibilities will include seeing patients at U Chicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital and our Hyde Park campus. The appointee will expand and monitor compliance of our inpatient and outpatient home-based hospice and palliative care programs. This position does not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have an medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be BC/BE in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
