Well, we have what you are looking for! We are currently looking for experienced MDS Resource to join our team and be a leader for our Pennant Washington Market.

The primary purpose of your job position is to train and develop the MDS Nurses at each facility to ensure the completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), that is, the Minimum Data Set (MDS), Care Are Assessments (CAAs) and Care Plan in accordance with State and Federal requirements.

What you will do:

Provide training and support for MDS Coordinators in the facilities;
Support facilities to provide beneficiaries with the skilled services they are entitled to and meet regulatory requirements for reimbursement;
Assist MDS coordinators to understand Case-Mix, Quality Measures, Quality Enhancement Measures, and PDPM HIPPS;
 

What you’ll need to be successful in this role:

Active RN license in the State of Washington;
At least 4 years’ experience working in a long term care/skilled nursing setting as an MDS coordinator;
Multi facility experience strongly preferred;
Experience with RAI/PPS process, MDS, case mix, and quality measures
Ability to prioritize tasks/responsibilities and respond to change quickly and productively;
Excellent assessment, clinical and teaching skills.
